I mean if someone is addicted to only playing one really specific MMO or MOBA and it’s not available on Linux I kinda get it. But if you’re the sort of gamer who enjoys lots of games, not just one, then there’s really no excuse at this point for sticking with Windows

I wish more devs would just use Steam Workshop. It’s incredibly painless on Linux.
- Comment on Do you still use your Steam Deck much? 6 months ago:
Yeah my 2016 build still holds up pretty well. It’s a 970 and 8gb of RAM (but I gave it a big swapfile) and it’ll still run basically any game. I’ve never much minded medium or low graphics settings anyway
- Comment on Do you still use your Steam Deck much? 6 months ago:
I bought it rather than upgrading my gaming PC which I built back in 2016. So it’s my primary gaming machine now. I use it every day.

But it’s less than 15,000,000
- Comment on Against The Storm looks like ass 6 months ago:
Oh shit, that was turned on. No idea why it was though, as I normally use per-game profiles. Thanks for the suggestion!

Maybe you could, but the whole point of the steam deck is the ability to play any PC game, and most require mouse input to play well

Every single one of the competitors I’ve seen makes at least two of the following mistakes, each of which means they don’t stand a chance:
- Windows
- Display resolution > 720p
- No trackpads
- Awful layout

Up to you. I’m just telling you what worked for me
- Comment on Never use 3rd Party USB-Hubs! 8 months ago:
I think I had something similar happen, but it wasn’t from a hub. I plugged my USB-C phone charger into my Deck and played it until the battery died since the charger didn’t offset the drain (stupid, I know). After that, the battery indicator kept showing that it was almost dead even after I recharged it.
I was able to fix it by unplugging it from any charger, playing it until the battery died causing it to auto shutdown, then plugging it in and fully charging it again before turning it back on. No idea why this worked but it did.

I suppose I want the OLED one. Is it ok to go for the 64 GB version or should I go for the higher storage tier? It has expandable storage yeah? Or is that not reliable or fast enough?
Depends on what you care about. If you can afford more onboard, it’ll be faster than an SD card. Some people say to buy the smallest one and install your own SSD separately, but personally I preferred to just get the first party one.
Also, what’s going on with the pricing? It’s just obviously better to buy direct. Why are people trying to sell it on Amazon? I get people trying to sell on eBay and Craigslist but Amazon? What’s the deal there?
No idea. Maybe those are resellers or scalpers? Just buy it from the Steam Store.

Now the movie is simply called “Superman.”
That won’t get confusing at all

- Comment on Which shows do you think ended too soon, or went on too long? 9 months ago:
I haven’t watched the Hulu reboot so I can’t be certain but this feels a bit like sacrilege. Every other Futurama revival has been excellent, so I’d be surprised if the latest one isn’t also great.

It was, but I feel like they could have learned from their mistakes.

I think Deckard is the anti-hero in the sense that he serves society and therefore the “bad guys.” But he comes around to realize this as the film progresses
