I’ve followed the nerd nest since before they were the nerd nest. Unfortunately their videos have gotten longer, while the information that I am interested in hasn’t grown along with it, so either:
- I have to actively search through the video or its transcript, OR…
- I have to suffer through 5 minutes of random crap I don’t care about or already knew, to find the one thing mentioned in the title, that made me click.

Summary using Kagi Summarizer (yes, A.I. , but I don’t want to watch a click bait vid that takes too long to get to the point):
Recent documents from the Wolffire lawsuit against Valve have brought to light allegations of monopolistic behavior concerning pricing parity. The report suggests that Valve has pressured publishers, including Ubisoft and Warner Brothers, to maintain price consistency across platforms by threatening to delist their games from Steam. While Valve representatives have denied the existence of a formal policy, internal communications indicate that this practice has been used to influence pricing on external storefronts. The legal proceedings serve as a crucial mechanism to uncover the truth behind these alleged practices. Regardless of the trial’s outcome, the transparency gained from these documents allows the public to scrutinize whether Valve has abused its dominant position in the PC gaming market. If proven true, these actions raise significant questions about corporate power and the freedom of developers to set prices independently of Steam.

Not specific to any courier, but the level of frustration I achieve when I get a notification that “nobody was home” when I am literally waiting in the living room, looking out the window to see if any van drives by… Ugh. Honestly I don’t blame the drivers though. It’s the corps scheduling them too tightly, unfortunately. I don’t envy them.

- Comment on Is the Steam Deck getting outdated soon? Should I wait for the next gen? 11 months ago:
If you remote play from the laptop that you have now the performance will be better than playing directly from the deck, but the noise can be in another room. And since the deck isn’t doing much compute, battery life should be great too. And you can stream at the Deck’s native resolution so your fps will be higher than your laptop’s display (assuming that is full hd)

It’s why I really don’t mind the longer times between GPU generations. Phones should do the same, to be honest. It’s not like there are major performance uplifts anually, and the amount of e-waste reduction there’d be would be huge.

Hmm fair, I just woke up when I commented haha. Technically I’m right though :p
Anyways I don’t see a reason why running this on another arch based distro wouldn’t work.

That’s what the title says, yeah.

Doesn’t seem to have changed anything. Could be an issue with Sync, which was originally designed for Reddit which limited pins per subreddit to 2.

Weird, I can see the post with votes, comments and everything. But it doesn’t show up in the pinned posts on the community. Thanks for the link, I’ll share with a friend who just got one for her birthday :)
- Comment on [deleted] 1 year ago:
Wait, which pinned post? I only see one about games we’ve been playing and one about refurb oled models.

- Comment on Adding gog games to steam deck 1 year ago:
You can go to the desktop mode and install the GOG launcher. Then after installing your games, open Steam and add the games as non-Steam games. They’ll show up in game mode as well.
The Heroic Launcher can add your games from GOG, EGS, and some others iirc to Steam automatically. I believe there are other, supposedly better options too, but I can’t remember the name(s) right now. Also don’t remember what (if anything) was wrong with Heroic.

FSR1 doesn’t have frame gen though, which is what the commenter wishes for.

I only have my founders and a white controller, but besides that I did make a profit on Stadia! I sold the Chromecasts that came with the Founders and première kit. Also, I got the premiere kit free with Cyberpunk.
Only thing that wasn’t a direct profit was the founders entry, but that was a birthday gift to me.
Although I have a great pc now, I still miss Stadia…
