New information has come to light about Valve’s alleged anti-competitive practices, and if what they say is true, it doesn’t look good.
I was confused by this news because I buy games cheaper from other retailers all the time, even Steam keys. I assume this about full retail price, but since PC games go on sale so often, it seems like “average retail price” can easily be lower through another store front.

Summary using Kagi Summarizer (yes, A.I. , but I don’t want to watch a click bait vid that takes too long to get to the point):

Don’t waste comment space by lazily pasting in the output of an AI, you bring down the quality of conversation here.

You don’t speak for all of us. I appreciated the summary.

I’ve followed the nerd nest since before they were the nerd nest. Unfortunately their videos have gotten longer, while the information that I am interested in hasn’t grown along with it, so either:

I think it’s fine and welcome that it was transparently stated that kagi ai was used.
I think the topic is interesting and worth of discussion but I don’t need to sit through a video necessarily.

Yup, I know exactly what this video is going to be about, definitely not a click bait title, lol.
The topic is interesting, the video apparently not so much (if it needs that title to do well). So I think AI is acceptable here, given that no one else bothered to provide a summary so people don’t need to waste time watching it.

I for myself am happy for that summary. I think one can’t deny that YouTube videos often can be summarized by a few sentences and what the summary provides in this case allows people to participate in the topic discussion without having to watch the video.
