Ok?
You and this other guy sure are stuck on a point I wasn’t making. What’s that about?

Can’t believe I’m wasting my time on this conversation but here’s a spreadsheet from 5 years ago showing what was promised, what was there at launch, and what was there when the list was made for reference.
I haven’t played in a few years so I don’t know what’s changed (aside from unique ships) but that’s a pretty complete list. Sure it’s missing a few minor things but are you really going to pretend it fell so short of its goals?
No, you’re not. That’s why you shifted to talking about the sad state of the game at launch…something no one is saying isn’t true.
You changed the subject.

Your first complaint was that the game still isn’t complete, now your complaint is that they’re fraudsters for not delivering it on day 1.

It’s not a bit of a stretch. It’s ok that you don’t like it, though

Ok? You know that your original complaint was wrong so you shifted to a new one?

Sounds like you formed an opinion on the game years ago and ignored everything about it since. The game’s been pretty good for years now, it had its redemption arc before Cyberpunk made it cool
They were definitely late on delivering for sure but they’ve gone beyond catching up at this point
- Comment on Microsoft experiments with ‘Drag Tray’ — share menu appears when dragging a file in Windows 11 3 days ago:
I will never use this feature but it IS new. Not the same as dragging files into an open email window (which still works, I assume)
- Comment on MSI’s panoramic PC case severely underestimates how bad at cable tidying I am 3 weeks ago:
Why are all RPS articles titled like this? It’s reminiscent of how Buzzfeed would follow the exact same format for every listicle

God, RPS is such a shit website. What is this trash? Who is paying this bot to repost it?

Ok?
These RSS reposting bots make Lemmy so much worse

- Comment on Should devs tell people about launch bugs in advance? “It’s an interesting problem” says Starfield and Skyrim designer 3 months ago:
Just delay the release and finish the game. I’m not paying to be a beta tester. I want the game-breaking AND immersion-breaking AND fps-reducing bugs fixed before launch. Games are expensive and while I don’t think that’s a bad thing, there’s still a bar I expect it to pass before it feels like a good value.

This no doubt has an audience so I don’t mean to throw shade but I can’t think of a game genre I want to play less than a 1v1 FPS lol
- Comment on Baldur's Gate 3 publishing director says "almost all games should cost more at a base level" because they cost so much to make 4 months ago:
I’ve never regretted buying a game full price less than BG3. My baseless rule of thumb for value is that $1 should get you an hour of fun and I’ve got like 400 hours in that game
- Comment on World Of Warcraft's latest expansion The War Within is live, adding a new continent, hero talents and Delves 5 months ago:
It’s pretty fun so far. I’ve only been to 2 zones but both are really nice. My friend said Hollowfall (?) is the best zone they’ve ever made which feels like really high praise since he’s played every expansion and has been fairly critical of retail…he might even quit SoD for TWW
- Comment on AI PCs made up 14% of quarterly personal computer shipments, Canalys says 5 months ago:
I need machine learning for such an arduous task!
- Comment on AI PCs made up 14% of quarterly personal computer shipments, Canalys says 5 months ago:
Pretty useless statistic since there’s rarely (never?) an option for “AI” when ordering. It’s not like companies are offering their flagship AI machines without AI chips.
If I had to guess, the AI features were the reason 0% of people purchased said AI PCs
- Comment on Overwatch 2 may get 6v6 again as Blizzard try to bring back the "chaotic, over-the-top" variety of the first game 5 months ago:
I don’t play anymore but I much preferred it as 5v5. I have a million hours in OW1 but what made me quit was having to deal with a co-tank who clearly should have just queued for damage…
- Comment on STALKER 2 delayed until November to fix unexpected anomalies 5 months ago:
More games need to be delayed. Gamers can wait a couple months for a polished game and the suits needs to realize that

What a fuckin waste of an article. Why make this without having any information?
The “schedule” is ONE game (Donkey Kong, January) followed entirely by undetermined release dates.
