I’d guess it’s because encryption adds overhead and slows things down. It’s also overkill for most people’s needs, since the chance to get their PC stolen isn’t worth the performance impact

Roblox was broken on Deck and linux by the addition of a new anti-cheat
Afaik, it wasn’t broken. The Roblox devs put in extra work to block Linux users from playing because according to them “the majority of cheaters are on Linux”. Who knows if that’s true

Gameplay itself isn’t anything special but it’s fun enough to keep you engaged, but the story is the real reason to play this game.
I have to disagree, I loved the combat and exploration in this game. Story was good, but the music and combat is what keeps me going back

I assume some of the tools you’ve mentioned randomize the fingerprint instead of just hiding it?
According to Arkenfox user.js the Canvas Fingerprint randomization is caused by Firefoxs Resist Fingerprinting
Of course, if we resist fingerprinting too much, we make ourselves have a unique fingerprint again
Yeah, that’s why Tor Browser has such strong privacy. You blend into the rrowd because everyone’s resistance is the same :)

It’s honestly scary how easy it is to fingerprint you

uBlock Origin and JShelter disagree.
Additionally one could improve that further by using a VPN
If you wanna be extreme you could also just use the Tor Browser
