Hope it’ll support the Steam Deck. Looks like a great couch game.

Curiosity might get my $4 on this one.
- Comment on Eve Frontier is a survival game spin-off of Eve Online and, yup, it's full of blockchain bullshit 2 months ago:
Hard to get too much detail on it yet. But looks like you’ll be able to build market tools (probably smart contracts) and other functionality.
If any game can leverage a public blockchain properly, it’s EVE. They’ve already got market driven economies and an in-game currency. Both historically annoyingly locked behind a TOS, limited APIs, and heavy-handed control of CCP.
Their community marketing system to unlock the closed beta looks like some bullshit though. I gotta perform actions like tweeting their trailer to get tickets to get access to the beta. I’ll pass.

- Comment on Star Citizen is free for the next few days, please don't accidentally buy a $300 spaceship 4 months ago:
How about some perspective?
Let’s use Cyberpunk 2077 as a comparison. They’ve spent about $450m over the course of about 10 years. Literally one of the most expensive games ever produced with an unreasonably long development time.
Start Citizen has already taken longer and has a larger budget.

Last time I checked, about a year ago, things were still unfinished in the starting city, and the game was unoptimized and crashed often. Super impressive. /s

They’ve constantly been working on a budget that was only every a fraction of a budget for something like a AAA Star Wars game would get.
I couldn’t even get past this. As of last May they’ve raised over $700m.

Too bad Brave is garbage.

Wish being able to make trivial donations for good articles was easier. Would be nice to donate a buck on a single click of a button with no hassle. But I’m not going to spend like 15 minutes on each of dozens of sites when I read a good one.
A little niche I think crypto might be able to fill at some point. Just too low of adoption, no browser support, and currency fragmentation makes things way harder than they need to be.

Creating the “Big Yellow Taxi” rule was possible because the U.S. State Department purchased a Microsoft 365 Government G5 license that comes with enhanced logging through the premium tier of Microsoft’s Purview Audit service.

- Comment on Roblox Studio head: 'you can say, okay, we are exploiting child labour'... 7 months ago:
“I don’t know, you can say this for a lot of things, right?” said Roblox Studio head Stefano Corazza at GDC, when the allegation was put to him by Eurogamer. "Like, you can say, ‘Okay, we are exploiting, you know, child labour,’ right? Or, you can say: we are offering people anywhere in the world the capability to get a job, and even like an income. So, I can be like 15 years old, in Indonesia, living in a slum, and then now, with just a laptop, I can create something, make money and then sustain my life.
Of all the ways you could’ve framed this you went with actual child labor.
