I’m not the one whining about “professional beggars.” 🤣
Unless specifically noted, you haven’t bought anything by sending money. It is essentially a tip showing gratitude for the content.
If you don’t like it, then stop sending money or even watching. It’s really simple stuff.
- Comment on Twitch is limiting streamers to 100 hours of highlights and uploads 14 hours ago:
Then why are you debating? You’re wrong and entitled. Frankly, it’s a bit disgusting to think you have purchased a person for $5 or any amount.
- Comment on Twitch is limiting streamers to 100 hours of highlights and uploads 16 hours ago:
They literally don’t. You are not buying the person, that is ridiculous. If you feel inclined (you’re not to), you can send money because you enjoyed the stream or whatever. Throwing money at them did not create an obligation on their part. That’s entitlement.
- Comment on Twitch is limiting streamers to 100 hours of highlights and uploads 18 hours ago:
That sounds very entitled, honestly. They have zero obligation to you, and things happen.
- Comment on Twitch is limiting streamers to 100 hours of highlights and uploads 1 day ago:
That’s viable. I think limiting total storage and leaving it up to them to trim the video down is a good solution.

What exactly is the harm? I would assume they are checking to ensure all of their hardware and software is working as intended. You’re free to view something else or enjoy an entirely different activity in the interim.
- Comment on Meta plans 50,000 km undersea cable to connect the U.S., Brazil, Africa, India, and Australia 4 days ago:
I suspect that is to somehow have greater access to information that wasn’t intended for them.
- Comment on AI is being used in social services – but we must make sure it doesn’t traumatise clients. 1 week ago:
Why is everyone so hellbent on using this garbage? I really don’t understand how people have been so sucked in by what is clearly a useless waste of time and resources. This NFTs all over again, except this time with real consequences.
- Comment on Security researchers tested 50 well-known jailbreaks against DeepSeek’s popular new AI chatbot. It didn’t stop a single one. 2 weeks ago:
Not from this technology, regardless of the hype behind it. The only dangers this technology presents are excessive carbon emissions, and if some idiot “true believer” implements this predictive text generator into some critical system where the algorithm can’t perform.
- Comment on Elon Musk says too many game studios are owned by giant corporations so his giant corporation is going to start a studio to 'make games great again' 2 months ago:
“Why aren’t most people pieces of shit like us!?!”
- Comment on Meta-Powered Military Chatbot Advertised Giving “Worthless” Advice on Airstrikes 2 months ago:
Of your war strategy is “let’s listen to facebook’s predictive text algorithm” then maybe you really should be attempting diplomacy. At least the technology will be marginally better at that, and you should have done basic knowledge in human interactions because clearly you have no understanding of war.
- Comment on Microsoft is scraping Word and Excel data to "train AI models" 2 months ago:
Who is paying for an office subscription? I know businesses utilize office, but there are several FOSS options that I’m aware of and have used, and I’m not even a FOSS prosletyzer. I even used them in college with zero issues. Individuals shouldn’t even be bothering with this crap.
- Comment on Data centers powering artificial intelligence could use more electricity than entire cities 2 months ago:
Great, let’s increase pollution along with energy costs for the average person so people can have “advanced” predictive text algorithms and a new world of fap material. Literally, the worst “technology” since coal burning power plants.
- Comment on D-Link refuses to patch a security flaw on over 60,000 NAS devices — the company instead recommends replacing legacy NAS with newer models 3 months ago:
It would. They could over a discount with the turn in of a d-link device and roll in some nonsense about reducing e-waste. They will probably get a nice little sales boost and tax breaks while helping the decline of a competitor.
- Comment on Steam will let you sue Valve now 4 months ago:
Some people are just built to scheme and scam while feeling entitled to their desired results. I don’t understand the psychology behind it, but I’ve met enough people with this personality type to know there is no reasoning with them.

Oldman and Tucker really contributed to making that film such a fun romp.
- Comment on Is that being too kind? 1 year ago:
What a great little speech to introduce the villain to the audience, with an excellent delivery by Mr. Oldman. Hot damn.
