Google is killing Android Instant Apps, a feature that lets you try mobile apps without installing them, because nobody used them.
Apps had to be developed in a specific way to support this, and it was a hassle not worth the investment, so most didn’t.

The idea was pretty dumb, since you could just make a website with all the needed functionality to “instantly load without installation”, which too many apps should’ve been in the first place

If only most of these products were about providing a good product and not just a way for them to collect as much data as they can.
