- Comment on The Witcher IV revealed with Ciri as the protagonist 2 weeks ago:
So admittedly, I’m not far into the game and only played a single Ciri segment thus far as well as read a few in-game books. (Please don’t spoil me.)
My main point is that she’s more talkative with more personality shining through. Geralt usually answers in a short straight forward fashion and does not seem to care either way what happens to most things. Ciri on the other hand showed a clear alignment.
There’s also more innate conflict about her character with her being the daughter of the Nilfguardian king as well as the Elder Blood thing (I’ve only read the book of the same title). While someone already spoiled me that she gets kinda OP because of the later, I think there are more options for interesting power progression with her. I’ve read all skills Geralt can learn and I’m quite sure I’ll be playing in a similar way towards the end of the game as I do now, just popping more potions. In addition, the only innate conflict with Geralt so far (and from what I remember playing WItcher 2) is whether to romance Triss or Yennefer (and I’ve got no horse in that race, neither of them is my type).
Lastly, while it wasn’t a plot point in Witcher 3 yet, Geralt does lose a lot of points for being a (former?) amnesiac.
My stance could change, but that’s my current view about 15h in. Currently doing the Keira questline with the ghost lamp.

That’s funny. I’ve just started Witcher 3 some time ago and one of my early thoughts was “Damn, Ciri seems much more interesting. Why don’t I play as her more?”

Sure, they would still celebrate and support it. But having a single news ticker item “CEO shot” simply does not make waves like non-stop coverage for multiple days does.

You know, they just make clear to us how effective it was. Had they handled it like any other murder, there wouldn’t be a support movement that practically calls for others to do the same.

First, it’s NEVER right for a person or group of people, regardless of position or occupation, to wish for a company’s death.
I disagree on a fundamental level. I stopped reading shortly after that.

Just don’t take away the option to fully use the width for the video and I don’t care. I’m either viewing in full screen or with a browser window only showing the video.
On a side note: Why make comments more prominent? They have always been pretty bad, but last time I checked half of them were bots with softcore porn images. Don’t think they have fixed that yet.

That’s not a boost of legitimacy, that’s just another success for Metas EEE plan.
- Comment on Hasbro exec says Baldur's Gate 3 "proved for us that people really wanted great D&D games," supports Larian's plan to "take the time we need" 9 months ago:
That simply isn’t true, I think. A game based on Pathfinder made by Larian would most certainly do better than anything they could pump out based on D’n’D without Larian. It’s Larian and Baldur’s Gate specifically who got more recognition, not D’n’D as whole.

The top right one works for me, once you manage to see any of them as face down, they all flip again.

I believe your brain will just kind of edit them out, similar to how it edits out your nose or glasses.
- Comment on stock vs stock cubes + water 1 year ago:
That is right, you can dissolve faster in warm water. However, some ingredients tend to form lumps in warm water - the main thing to watch out for is starch, commonly used to thicken.
- Comment on stock vs stock cubes + water 1 year ago:
You may try and if your stock cubes will not produce lumpy sauce or whatever you’re cooking, you don’t need to dilute them prior.

That’s just useless semantics, neither funny nor clever. The pig you bought may be dead, but the money you pay will be used to raise and kill other pigs.

It’s called ‘buying pork’. They don’t kill them for fun and just happen to sell them afterwards.
