Studios that can release games on consoles don’t even target people like me. I’m not going to get a console to play 5 good AAA games a year.

I can’t get Xi to show up in the results proper but he shows up as the thumbnail in the search suggestion Nimrod.

This is for the interstitials right? It’s a separate system than the ones on the side?

You can affect the ads by finding normal ads around the internet (served by Google) and telling Google what is and isn’t relevant to you.
However, Google seems to allow advertisers to lie and game their system. Ie PragerU will advertise some “trans is bad” “children’s book” schlock, labeled as “video games.”
When you’re already sucking it up and trying to fairly engage with Google, it’s disheartening to see they don’t even pay attention to what they serve people.

If you use humans to fine tune and judge the quality of output, then in some sense, that’s pretty much all the AI can possibly do.
Everyone can see the output, “I don’t know.” and mark it zero (dude). But if the model instead generates some bull then the meat bags on the other side are absolutely going to reward that behavior with a sounds-good-to-me thumbs-up.

Or maybe the basilisk is watching now? The idea that it could simulate people in order to punish them implies it might have already happened. I wouldn’t care if my simulation gets punished… unless I’m the simulation.
- Comment on Your evil deeds may be causing Baldur's Gate 3 bugs 11 months ago:
You can tell this game is beloved. I don’t think I’ve seen this many bugs talked about as funny / cute quirks when they’re just… bugs. It isn’t cats getting drunk in DF, it’s a memory leak-like issue that affects your save the longer you play.
It reinforces the idea that the devs are treating players right and making a game that people want to succeed. It’s not like anyone spun Subnautica save corruption as “you just collected so much stuff, you rascal you”
