- Comment on [Discussion] What games are you playing on your deck? - September 2025 8 hours ago:
Mass Effect 1 as the Deck is perfect for enjoying these moderatly old games 👍
- Comment on New rumor suggests Valve's Steam Deck 2 is much further away than we thought 1 week ago:
I guess it’s consumerism and people always wanting more.
I’d be happy if the Steam Deck 2 wasn’t released until 2028 as I’ve just got my used LCD in 2025.
- Comment on New rumor suggests Valve's Steam Deck 2 is much further away than we thought 1 week ago:
Other manufacturers adopting Steam OS is a great sign, but it’d be nice to still get a really polished, maybe less powerful, device from Valve.
- Comment on New rumor suggests Valve's Steam Deck 2 is much further away than we thought 1 week ago:
Well good because the Steam Deck ain’t old yet.
I think in 2028, getting a Steam Deck 2 would be nice for the people who want something more powerful and fresh.
2026 would be too early for my taste.
Depending on how powerful the Steam Deck 2 and its ease of use when docking it, it might become my only gaming system (Steam Deck and Playstation 5 for now).
- Comment on How to have separate controller layouts for each game in Heroic game launcher? 2 weeks ago:
Thanks for the help. Yes apparently Heroic supports achievements through something called Comet.
- Comment on How to have separate controller layouts for each game in Heroic game launcher? 2 weeks ago:
Well I wanted to avoid adding them as non-steam games if it meant losing the achievements but apparently (according to Bjoern), it wouldn’t be the case

I’ve created it on GitHub: github.com/Heroic-Games-Launcher/…/4890

Thanks for the detailed answer👍
- Comment on Planning on buying a SteamDeck. What should I know before purchasing? 3 weeks ago:
I bought an used LCD model a few months ago and got surprised by the quality of its screen.
Of course the LCD might be better (haven’t tested it), but I’m really happy with my screen.

What would be the benefits?
I only got interested in it because you could have gnome instead of Kde in desktop mode, but I haven’t heard about other benefits and there are pribably downsides too.
- Comment on Can't avoid native Linux version from GOG with Heroic on Steam Deck 3 weeks ago:
That was it! Thanks
In game mode, clicking on the list would only show me the Linux version.
In desktop mode it allowed me to select the Windows version 👍

- Comment on How stable are Decky Loader and its plugins in 2025 ? 5 weeks ago:
It’s a really good topic as I was also wondering if installing deckyloader would be worth it and if it would affect my Deck’s performance.

Thanks, I might try it some day then👍
- Comment on Separate power progiles for dockend/handheld mode 5 weeks ago:
Oh that’s interesting.
Sounds complicated but doable. Have you ever used it?
- Comment on Separate power progiles for dockend/handheld mode 1 month ago:
Sadly I don’t think you have these in gaming mode.
Maybe in desktop mode though since Steam OS uses KDE.

Well thanks a lot. I guess the notification will be coming in the future🤞
- Comment on A few questions after getting an LCD Steam Deck 1 month ago:
Thanks for these answers.
About the « deck verified » part, I was only seeing it on the Deck, but now that I’ve checked it’s kind of hidden when you go to the store with Firefox. So that’s one problem solved.
- Comment on A few questions after getting an LCD Steam Deck 1 month ago:
Yeah for now I’ve been using a lot before buying games, but it didn’t give me any information about all of my questions.
Still it’s a great ressource for any compatibility issue.

- Comment on Anyone else get this? 2 months ago:
Well that’s good news and you could maybe just reinstall everything if you don’t find another easier solution.
- Comment on Anyone else get this? 2 months ago:
I’ve had something like this on a Playstation 3 controller a while ago.
It was a problem with some foam which got thinner with age and a contact patch.
I don’t know if the same thing could apply to a few years old Steam Deck, but the symptoms were exactly the same.
- Comment on [Discussion] What games are you playing on your Deck? - July 2025 2 months ago:
Well to be honest I only played with the Deck hooked to an external screen.
I forgot to mention it😇
- Comment on [Discussion] What games are you playing on your Deck? - July 2025 2 months ago:
I’ve been abducted By Frostpunk (on the deck), but now I’m finally getting out of it and enjoying some Wolfenstein (on ps5).
- Comment on Is the Steam Deck getting outdated soon? Should I wait for the next gen? 2 months ago:
As the Steam Deck isn’t new and is apparently struggling with some AAÀs, that’s why I got a used Steam Deck 2 months ago to run alongside my PS5.
I really don’t regret the move as I can play every future AAA I could want on the Playstation and so many games (including older AAÀs) on the Steam Deck.
For me it’s the perfect combo at under 1000.-(around 1000$).
- Comment on [Game] Gears of War: Reloaded's Beta Shows Lots Of Promise For Steam Deck 2 months ago:
I’m really looking forward to playing it again as it’s the only thing I had been missing on Playstation. Now that I have a Steam Deck, I’ll be getting it even if it means giving money to a bad company like Microsoft.
It was nice to do some coop on it on my 360 before it started killing all my discs.
- Comment on Has the Deck turned *off* any other Steam users? 3 months ago:
Good argument too.
I guess they’re adavantages and inconvenients in every situation.
What you’re talking about could even happen on a physical game receiving an online update.
