Why would private ones need to be registered?
Mobile GPS is artificially disabled above a certain ground speed to prevent them being used as bootleg missile guidance systems.
Just put a speed limit on Starlink dishes, and then if you want to permit one side to use them simply whitelist those MACs. Perhaps the real reason is that a private company doesn’t want to be seen as choosing sides or maybe there are implications for international rules of war.

I’m from a non tipping culture country, and it always baffles me when I see the opinion of gratitude in the form of money. Why not write to them to say thanks? Or give a good review? If I tried to give money to someone as a thank you here it would be seen as quite rude.

Season 8 was supposed to be the end. They wrapped up both the replicator and goauld arcs. They were going to make a spin off called Stargate Command, but at some point they changed to title back to SG-1.
