I have been able to add to cart for every steam hardware right at launch. There is nothing that needs to be done except for removing the unnecessary lottery.
If people are too slow and can’t handle it, then that’s their problem not mine. The lottery was what held me back from buying a steam frame, not a scalper.
I also think Valve should have given accounts that already had purchased hardware in the past a priority. Like you have 1000 games and all their hardware versus some account with no games and no hardware purchases.

I’m not going to do the research for you just because you lack basic comprehension skills. The difference is right there in the faq. I even went out of my way to post the screenshots of each item you inquired about.

And yet there are still scalpers. All it did was stop legit buyers from having a chance.
I have been against this stupid ass lottery since day 1.
I was able to get every single valve hardware on day 1 prior to the lottery. This is first time I didn’t get valve hardware at launch.

My desire is inhibited by my platform. It won’t have Linux support day 1, so just gotta deal with not using a desktop PC for the power it could provide.

I’m not a scalper and I hate this lottery system. My friend signed up for steam machine and still hasn’t received his email.
I have purchased every valve hardware since the first controller. Never had a problem just clicking add to cart and buying. Same shit when Covid hit and 3090s were just released. Got one direct from Nvidia no problem.
Now with this lottery crap I might never get my reservation due to RNG. I rather just be first in line on the purchase day.

For what it’s worth, I recently upgraded my mobo, cpu and ram. I used all the parts from my old rig hot swapped. Hard drives, GPU, etc. I’m using Cachy Linux.
Booted up fine no problems. Didn’t have to reimage/format.
You could always just swap them and if it works it works. Otherwise nuke and pave.

I’m not sure I understand the logic here. How would joining the queue for the $1500 give you the winning seat in the $1050 one?

There are many YouTubers with reviews of this. They say the dpad still uses membrane but feels better than Steamdeck but still has a bit of cardinal slide.

Got mine 3 minutes before the hour. I was smashing that F5 button like I was Brock Lesnar in a squash match. My friend also got one same time, although he had the error screen a few times before it went through.

I’m currently using Faugus. It has a quick easy installer. My only gripe is that it loads really slow for me and I had to end up turning off hardware acceleration because the launcher lagged so bad.
I tried to install through lutris but the script kept bugging out and forcing me to abort and delete all the files. Not sure what’s up with that.

It’s probably not detecting that you have a wine / proton installed and defaulting to Linux native version.
Check if this problem persists with other games and also check under heroic settings > manage wine versions and make sure to install one (generally proton-ge latest)

This has been a thing for the Legion Go since it released. Works perfectly on Bazzite. The legion go even comes with a little disc/stand that you put the right joystick into and hold it like a gun handle.
