This reads like they told the clanker to make it tonally identical to a 7th grade book report

You’re right, laws are dumb and I will just hunt down the scalpers myself.
- Comment on My steam machine arrived! 2 weeks ago:
Which is the problem with every law. If the caveat you’re pointing out is inherent to the system in which the solution is being proposed, it’s not a reason in itself not to try to improve things. You’re letting perfection get in the way of progress. I won’t write a fake law because I’m not a lawmaker.
- Comment on My steam machine arrived! 2 weeks ago:
This is a “no true Scotsman” argument. Name one law in the history of government that didn’t have potential for loopholes.

Yet.

Scalpers aren’t their actual customers so they can get fucked
- Comment on My steam machine arrived! 2 weeks ago:
That doesn’t mean there shouldn’t be. Morality informs legality, not the other way around.

“Savvy” is both the noun for the trait and the adjective for someone who possesses it.

And of course they’re already being scalped for 6x MSRP on eBay… I fucking hate humanity.

I don’t want to think about how much space my library would take up
- Comment on What game had you like this? 3 months ago:
Some chase sequence where I shot my own horse in the back of the head, he immediately faceplants at throws me like 20 feet and land on my head and break my neck. “Fuck joystick aiming.” I still haven’t picked it back up. Maybe the PC port will do it for me, idk
- Comment on DLSS Multi-Frame Generation Is Now Easier To Enable On Steam Deck, And It Makes Gameplay Worse 3 months ago:
Yeah with frame gen off it’s still like 110-120 with dips in the high double digits
- Comment on DLSS Multi-Frame Generation Is Now Easier To Enable On Steam Deck, And It Makes Gameplay Worse 3 months ago:
This is anecdotal but I don’t get all the frame gen hate, I’ve had to tweak it a little bit toward the quality setting but everything looks normal and it’s totally smooth in maxed Cyberpunk at 165 fps
- Comment on Finishing a video game can trigger “post-game depression,” study finds 4 months ago:
In fairness, a lot of the games I’ve played that did this did have interesting side plots that I would have been pissed if I had to start a new playthrough to see.

I wasn’t complaining about duplicate stories, but rather the not saying who the industry player was in the headline where the others did

I think this is more people making content which in an open-world game can be broken down into logical chunks and worked on mostly in parallel
