Understandable. I grew up in a 3rd world country. I didn’t have power in my house until 2007. Owned my first laptop in 2010 when I came to the US. Owned my first ever gaming console in 2011, I was 30 back then. Lol. I completely understand where you are coming from. I have zero judgement in (on?) this matter.

I have a friend who is like that. He doesn’t leave anything behind. He basically has every gaming console out there, two PCs, 3 handhelds… Etc. He has over 1800 games in his team library. I couldn’t do that even if I had the money for it. Man, we don’t even have enough hours in the day to play all of that shit. Lmao
- Comment on New rumor suggests Valve's Steam Deck 2 is much further away than we thought 1 week ago:
Certainly understandable. I really don’t want them to increase the resolution. For that screen size, it’s perfect. If they made better hardware and kept the same screen res, imagine the battery life you’ll get out of this thing. Also, I want them to keep how it looks like right now. It’s hands down the most comfortable handheld I’ve ever tried, and I’ve tried several of them.

Why is everyone in a hurry? What’s wrong with the one we have? I have the 64GB LCD one (OG one) and it’s fucking flawless still. Yeah, the storage is annoying, but all of my games play no problem. So, what’s the issue? Also, do y’all realize how fucking insane the ergonomics on this one? It genuinely made me not look at any other device. Please let them take their time so we can get an even nicer device.

I have the same question.
- Comment on Junk Store 2.0 has released 1 month ago:
Man, they really need to change that name. For the longest time I didn’t know what the hell this thing did and didn’t bother to look into it. Any reason why it’s called that? Now, I’m going to try it after reading your description of what it is 🤦🏽

You need a smaller monitor for this, full stop. A tablet isn’t a monitor. Anything you try will lag like hell.
- Comment on What is your favorite Steam deck Bluetooth keyboard? 2 months ago:
Very reasonably priced, too. Customizable if you’re into that. I put in my own switched and key caps, added some foam and it now sounds fantastic now.
- Comment on What is your favorite Steam deck Bluetooth keyboard? 2 months ago:
Check out the keychron lineup. They have some decent Bluetooth ones that work fine. I have the V6 pro and it has been serving me very well.

I just got their ultimate 2 wireless today. It’s really nice and works very well on Linux. I just wish their app worked at least through wine. I couldn’t even make it work in a Windows VM. Hope they bring it over.

I never understood kernel level anti-cheat. People STILL cheat. lol

I think it’s the other way around, thousands of machines are tailored for windows. Don’t manufacturers create their own drivers for windows all the time?
- Comment on Windows Was The Problem All Along [Lenovo Legion Go S review by Dave2D] 3 months ago:
I have a steam deck and a onexplayer that runs windows. I never touch the other one. Windows is painful. I genuinely can’t even enjoy the game I’m playing. Too bad this machine sucks on any Linux distro I’ve tried, even bazzite. So, it’s just sitting there doing nothing now

Wow, so now I don’t have to bug them on Discord and just Google things? That’s pretty useful.

I love this game. I’ve played it a lot on the PC. Going to install it on the deck now.

There ya go.

Bazzite is essentially steamOS except the base isn’t Arch, it’s fedora, which doesn’t really matter much when you’re running an immutable system. Bazzite has a “home theater” and “PC” versions.

- Comment on Should I say fuck it and buy a steam deck now? Before all the tariffs hit. 5 months ago:
Do you need it? Do you have the extra money to spend? Only you know this answer, honestly. Is it worth it for you? If it is, then go for it. Preferably a refurbished one since they’re normally $100+ cheaper and are great.

Right. Some folks like the antiglare
- Comment on Steam Deck OLED 1TB Certified Refurbished back in stock in the US 5 months ago:
As long as you’re happy with your device, nothing else reallg matters. It’s all personal preference.
- Comment on Steam Deck OLED 1TB Certified Refurbished back in stock in the US 5 months ago:
I feel like it dims the colors a little. If you put it side by side with the 521GB, you’d see the colors are less vibrant on the anti-glare screen. They’re like muted if that makes sense. It could also be personal preference, but I personally saw the difference and didn’t like the colors on the 1TB.
- Comment on Steam Deck OLED 1TB Certified Refurbished back in stock in the US 5 months ago:
They have it now. 1TB if you go now you can get it
- Comment on Steam Deck OLED 1TB Certified Refurbished back in stock in the US 5 months ago:
I actually don’t want the 1TB because of that anti-glare they have on the screen.
