Interesting self report that they suck at programming so bad the vibe coded launcher is an improvement
Good think they’ve been making nothing but garbage lately. So much easier to dismiss them entirely.
Great, so now when it goes to uninstall a game it’ll just uninstall your entire system!
This reminds me:
Back in 2003, there was a demo version of the game Chicago 1930 (from Spellbound, better known for much better games like Robin Hood: The Legend of Sherwood and the Desperados series). Its uninstaller not only deleted the files belonging to this demo, but also the content of the entire Program Files directory, which I noticed way too late in the process.
We all need to keep one thing in mind, 99% (if not all) corporations will never again code anything manually.
lol, that graphic at the end. “Try the Epic Games store, it loads 5 seconds faster than Steam!” lol
The fact they think shaving off 0.06 seconds from system tray restore over Steam is a selling point is beyond hilarious.
I don’t even have anything to add; it makes fun of itself.
All the more reason to pirate their shit, so you don’t need to run their launcher.
(Alongside the Linux version of the launcher, Epic is also announcing that it plans to bring Fortnite to Linux through the app.)
You have my most confused “yay”. Genuinely the only positive about this is that Fortnite might be the last holdout for some small group of people.

The vibe slopping will continue until reputation improves?
