- Comment on Turok: Origins gets a fresh gameplay trailer - coming Fal 2026 1 week ago:
The last time they rebooted Turok it was embarrassingly bad. Just let it be dead.

- Comment on Using a webcam, the Steam Controller can now seek out it's charger by vibrating across the desk 1 week ago:
I understand it was for fun too, doesn’t make it any less pointless.
- Comment on Using a webcam, the Steam Controller can now seek out it's charger by vibrating across the desk 1 week ago:
Why not? because if fucking stupid. It would take you longer to set this bullshit up than it would to just set it on the puck.
- Comment on Using a webcam, the Steam Controller can now seek out it's charger by vibrating across the desk 1 week ago:
I know you think you are making a point but you aren’t roombas do a shit job and you have to vacuum anyway.
- Comment on Using a webcam, the Steam Controller can now seek out it's charger by vibrating across the desk 1 week ago:
But why? You can just… put it on the charger.
- Comment on Another Xbocalypse begins: Microsoft are reportedly closing or spinning off Double Fine, Ninja Theory and Compulsion 3 weeks ago:
I will never understand why you would sell your studio to someone like microsoft or ea, it is well known they will bastardize it drag its name through the mud and then strip off and sell every asset.
To me the money is not worth the lost legacy, but what do I know I’m not some short sighted selfish ceo.

I know these idiots think that this will somehow mean more people will buy consoles but these days I feel it actually means less people will buy your games.

Heres some advice that has always served me well “update bad”.
The problem is in the past it was a joke but these days with rampant enshittification updates truly are bad.
If your system is doing what you want it to do then don’t update it, there is no need to mess with success.
- Comment on Upcoming California law to require operating systems to check your age 4 months ago:
Fortunately linux users are quite privacy focused so there is sure to be several distros that will ignore this stupid bullshit. Unfortunately the general public are morons and will just accept it without question when it shows up in the majority of OS’s.
The days of needed a VPN just to install and OS are looming and I am going to do anything I need to never fucking give any OS so much as a fake birthday because I should have to and I don’t fucking want to.
- Comment on Upcoming California law to require operating systems to check your age 4 months ago:
If you are unable to recognize this as the trojan horse that it is then you should seriously re-evaluate your observational skills.
- Comment on Firefox 148.0 arrives with AI controls 4 months ago:
The Mozilla CEO really looked at all the love Firefox had and said “but what if I ruin everything with slop?”

- Comment on Spain announces plans to ban social media for under-16s 4 months ago:
Admittedly, I dont have the right answer. I feel it is undeniable that social media is a net negative for society. But I DO know what the wrong answer is, banning something never works. It seems instead to make it more popular.
If you want my opinion I can give you that. Keep in mind I am an idiot with a bleeding heart.
Societey is broken, social media is toxic because modern society is as well. People are considered stupid, pathetic, weak, or worse “woke” if they dare care for another. We need to teach empathy not censor websites.
- Comment on Spain announces plans to ban social media for under-16s 4 months ago:
So fucking stupid, it’s not going to get or keep anyone off of social media. They will just get pushed to shady sites that won’t bother to comply or they will lie about their age.

- Comment on Steam Deck Enclosure [not OC] 6 months ago:
You could be right, it is quite wide.
- Comment on Steam Deck Enclosure [not OC] 6 months ago:
A mouse and the ability to charge it in the dock and this would be pretty cool even though its super bulky.
- Comment on When work has you travelling but there's ARC to be raided... 6 months ago:
In my experience the “cable box” in the rooms are almost always accessible just unplug the HDMI from it and use that. Then you don’t even have to figure out what button on the remote or tv changes inputs.
- Comment on When work has you travelling but there's ARC to be raided... 6 months ago:
Pro tip, bring a dock or at least a usb c to hdmi cable when you travel so you can use the tv in the room.
- Comment on LTT Guesses price, 699USD, eats whole cake if hes 60USD off 7 months ago:
They have been in the top 10 for years as far as I know. While it’s commendable it does not change the fact that linus is a self aggrandizing shit.
- Comment on LTT Guesses price, 699USD, eats whole cake if hes 60USD off 7 months ago:
Linus is so damn insufferable, why does anyone pay any attention to him?
