- Comment on What game had you like this? 1 week ago:
Baldurs Gate 2. Never played the first and didn’t know D&D so it was a LOT to get used when Final Fantasy was the most complicated RPG I’d played before trying it.
Fumbled the intro dungeon and just couldn’t get into it so it sat in a drawer for awhile. Then Throne of Baal was announced and for some reason I gave it another try and got SUPER into it. No idea how many times I’ve played through it now. The engine really doesn’t hold up well but I love the characters so much.
- Comment on What game recently hooked you on the Deck, more than on PC ? 3 months ago:
No Mans Sky. Plays great on the deck and flying with a controller feels better than keyboard and mouse.
- Comment on Steam Replay is live and notes only 14% "of playtime spent by all Steam users" was for 2025 releases 3 months ago:
They only count the official release date on Steam. DLC/expansions don’t count even if they are new releases, which I consider pretty odd. My report shows zero new games played, yet I played two expansions that came out this year.
- Comment on People are playing fewer games and new releases are "struggling", say Ubisoft UK, warning of falling revenues 4 months ago:
Of course it had to happen to the best game to come out of the AC franchise. I freaking love black flag.
- Comment on Controller dongle on deck 4 months ago:
Are you purely having trouble with this old Xbox controllers? I’ve got 3 controllers on my deck, 2 8bitdos via dongles and one Xbox via Bluetooth. They all work fine, though one of the 8bitdos required an update first.
- Comment on 8BitDo announces it's controllers now have Steam/SteamOS compatibility 9 months ago:
Ultimate 2. It’s got a gyroscope.
- Comment on Steam Deck sales still going strong over three years later 10 months ago:
You’re probably right, but I hope not. Those third parties keep focusing on chips poorly optimized for a handheld and ditching touchpads.
- Comment on Recommend me a simple hub 11 months ago:
UGREEN has a nice one with 3 normal USB and one USB C. Went with it because it folds up nice for packing and the dock to deck cord is removable so I can easily use a different cable if I want to use it with my laptop.
- Comment on [Discussion] What games are you playing on your deck? - April 2025 11 months ago:
Chorus: Arcadey space combat. Gameplay is ok so far, but not a fan of the weird mystical voice over they’ve got going on for the MC. Lego Star Wars Complete (not Skywalker): Fun and silly. Good 2 player game.
