Your teammates are stupid (not to mention they are probably projecting their own fetishes, denialists and negationists are like that) and they deserve to be derided. Changing the logo of a program these days is, like, two lines in a script.

The one explanation I’ve heard is that the EU has fallen for the “if code is older than three months old and not in Rust it’s dead” meme, something something about codebases presumably suffering from code rot.
Do I believe it? Not a chance. EU legislators and stuff barely understand anything about code.

Yeah I’m amazed at how the tiktok brainrot has made it impossible for a whole generation to understand that on a thing that you are going to hold far too close to your face, you don’t want to have to squint and dry your eyes at far too many things going on at the same time too fast. Monster Hunter 4 did wonders on the 3DS and that was a 244p game!
