I appreciate that this article from July in the San Francisco Standard tells me everything I need to know.
Nikita Bier is a serial entrepreneur with the heart of a troll
Imagine joining X in June of 2025 and thinking you “made it.” Gross.

Seems like a thinly-veiled ad for a new version of google’s ai image generation.

You’re right, I was misreading pages 41 and 42 of the data.
I appreciate the correction!

This is such embarrassing reporting from The Verge. Leave it to the AI reporter to fail to understand a very basic survey I guess.
Far from a relic, Facebook remains a fixture for more than 70% of Americans.
This is literally not what the study says. The study says that 70% of people who used some type of social media used Facebook. Not 70% of Americans.
Here’s the gist of the question they asked:
% of U.S. adults who say they ever use …
People who didn’t answer weren’t included.
And, if someone used Facebook for a buy/sell/trade transaction, it’s counted as “social media” usage.
No wonder YouTube is at the top. Yikes.

Thank you very much for the information! This was really helpful.
I’ve looked at Boox devices before so it’s good to see that people are using and enjoying them.

It’s absolutely fantastic for reading books, but it’s only gotten better for my favorite use-case, which is comics and manga. The ability to do color adds so much.
Do you have a preferred device? I’m really curious but it’s hard to know where to start with colored screens.

This was passed during the previous administration, so of course they’re trying to get rid of it.

- Comment on [Discussion] What are you playing on your Deck? - October 2025 2 months ago:
I have been really curious about Sonic Racing Crossworlds, thanks for the blurb about it!
I have played Mario Kart prior to this gen (I don’t have a Switch 2) and really like Sonic’s characters. I might wait to see if it goes on sale because full price seems a little steep.
- Comment on [Eurogamer] Nothing Headphone (1) review: Unlike anything else I've ever seen 2 months ago:
I enjoy reading reviews where the person is trying to write that there’s nothing special about a product, and at the current price point you should get something else… without writing that.
For that price, I might have expected slightly better noise cancelling and a potentially more well-rounded sound…
I know I’ve definitely enjoyed using them for the last few weeks, and if you can still pick them up at the discounted rate I spotted them at recently, then they’re well worth a go.
Let me paraphrase. Are you a “pick me?” These unique fashion-first headphones are for you.
Are you someone who just wants decent headphones? Buy something else unless you can get them on discount.
