installing firefox from google.play (or fennec from f-droid or whatever fenix build) and adding ublock origin from addons menu should be pretty straightforward i believe
honestly not sure if the ddg browser can be recommended, especially because webview is ancient and not updated on quite a few android phones

yeah, it’s on f-droid afaik. i believe it’s a simple webview wrapper and not really a full browser.

yep. it’s sort of dead right now but not completely. in fact, a new bootrom exploit for Xs/11 era devices got released recently, and 11 is still getting supported on latest iOS 27.

i was thinking of some “automated browser” type, like if the browser returns an error page saying it’s blocked, the LLM would get the "blocked from website"ish error as the page content, and shouldn’t it say something around “I’m sorry, I couldn’t access the website” instead of “Sure!
