Comment on Linux back over 4% in the July 2026 Steam Survey

Sorry, some confusion in what I was replying to. Anyway, I had already given the source (reddit). Sorry that Linux advocates are so allergic to search engines. www.reddit.com/search/?q=how+to+force+steam+pop-u… If you’re using VimiumC or Simple Search, the code for automatically doing this yourself as easy af: www.reddit.com/search/?q=%25s

No, that’s not how citations work. If you make a claim, YOU have to be the one to provide a direct link to your source. Saying “just use a search engine” is lazy and misleading, and it could lead to someone finding an entirely different article/post than the specific one that you’re referencing.

You have the internet at your fingertips. -It’s right there accessible in seconds, but LiGNUts prefer wasting time bickering over stupid crap (like you’re doing) instead of acknowledging that what I wrote was factual and easily verifiable at the source given. -It’s why a large population is turning against you and why your community is accurately labeled toxic.

If you had ever taken any higher education courses, this is the first thing that you would’ve learned, how to research and vote your sources. So I can tell that you are either an uneducated idiot who’s overly confident, or everything went over your head like a buffoon. In either case, you’re a shallow person with a feeble mind. Did I ever say I use or even LIKE Linux??? No!! You’re a fucking idiot who’s projecting your views onto someone completely detached from this situation. Also, you DIDNT give a fucking source, that’s the point, anyone can search that phrase sure, but search engines are not always going to show the same results for different people, it may end up showing me things that are completely unrelated.

Mind you I believe you, plenty of members of the Linux community activity try to show usage to encourage development. Though how much is it actually skews is debatable because FOSS software also tends to collect less data and be used by people actively avoid data collection as well.

Though no idea about the rest, you kind sound like you have sour grapes tbh

Every fucking weird claim you make about Linux is so stupid/false it’s not worth the effort to disprove. All you are is a idiotic troll with nothing better to do than shill for corporations. I guess you left your safe space where you control the narrative because you banned everyone from countering your beyond-stupid lies there.

Are you a bot account? Seriously, nothing you're posting makes sense.
