It would be great if there was a dock to use it as a desktop PC as well. Sadly the USB port is only 2.0 without display out, but the extension port at the nose might be able to drive a dock via PCIe.

Well, the Index also had a kind of similar port in the front and no one really made anything with it.
I guess the Frame being stand-alone makes it slightly more likely we will see some prototypes of interesting stuff.

Presumably there was less reason to develop accessories for the USB port on the Index since it was a “dumb” display, but now we’re dealing with something that can be used as a standalone computer so there might be a higher chance of seeing interesting accessories being developed.
Here’s one idea: a forward-looking infrared (FLIR), i.e., heat-sensing camera.
