No way has it been in Early Access for 2 years?! I picked this game up when I first released but stopped playing it pretty quickly as it felt shallow compared to what was already out there. Maybe I need to give it a go with this update.

Going Medieval, a 3D colony builder like Rimworld, has been in EA for almost three years, and it’s constantly getting new things added to it. The most recent major update was allowing for taking prisoners and adding a conversion system so you can convince them to join you. Aside from that, the devs have added feast and religious events that you can trigger, they’re always adding new buildings and crafting stations, and there’s still more to come like NPC settlement raiding and such.

Stray Fawn Studio is the same studio that developed Niche; Niche is a good teaching tool, but it’s about as entertaining as a game as mopping the floor.
Based on that I’d advise caution against buying this game while it’s still in early access, unless you’re satisfied with its current gameplay.

Bought the game in it’s first hours on Steam and got disappointed after one playthrough since there wasn’t much to it. I even took some days off work because hype. It got updated, yes, but their goals are questionable. Too much hype from their devs (or PR, i dunno their roles), focus on co-publishing to stay in your view, and their roadmap for Wandering Village was just disappointing from the start. Can you please finish your game before co-publishing with whoever or working on your second or third game.
Started a new playthrough recently but didn’t get far because after all the updates it’s just the same in a different color, maybe more streamlined and modern but it’s still sad.
Oh, don’t forget the merch. I like the merch but it’s way too soon.
