May's Humble Choice games are live, and there are some incredible indie games, all of which work great on Valve's handheld gaming PC.
Anyone here played Shadow Gambit The Cursed Crew?
It looks lively, but I’m not quite sure how the game plays, specifically on a gamepad. The tags say it’s real time strategy, but doesn’t look like any real time strategy I’ve played.
I’d be interested regardless, but if it’s not a great on a gamepad I’ll wait until I have some time to game on my desktop.
It’s more like the Commando or Shadow Tactics series, if you’ve heard of those. Not like Age of Empires or Warcraft.

I haven’t played any of those, but it does look like it might be doable then.
Easily one of the best stealth games in recent memory, as are pretty much all of the devs other games. Tragic that they went out of business shortly after release.
Played a bit of it. It works quite well on a gamepad. You control the characters (initially just one, but pretty sure you’ll get a crew later) directly with the analog stick. It’s nothing like a traditional RTS, more of a strategic stealth game.
And if I remerber correctly: The quicksave function is diegetic, i.e.: explained in the lore of the game (since savescumming is pretty mandatory in these kind, of games).
Ah, gotcha. That sounds like it might work!
Based on my experience with Shadow Tactics, I will be getting this month’s bundle for this game alone. Like ST, Shadow Gambit should play great on a controller and be a good fit for the Deck.

Just wanna say thanks for this. Not sure I’m gonna play all of them but I wanted several and I’m always willing to pay for games.
