Kickstarter and the like pretty much have that locked up.
- Comment on Microsoft is quietly installing the Copilot app on Windows PCs 7 months ago:
I just did a fresh install on someone’s computer and it was my first experience with 11. Nothing about that OS is quiet. Copilot auto started with a huge side panel after uninstalling it 3 fuckin times. Everything i removed from the suggested apps came right back after a restart/install. Every setting had a nag popup asking if i was sure or wanted to try Xxx. I disabled shit with powershell commands and an update later it was all back.
I had no idea it was that bad. None.
- Comment on Pokémon Co. Is Now DMCAing Years Old Videos Showing Pokémon Modded Into Other Games 7 months ago:
The original DMCA wording was very very harsh when it came to frivolous fillings. Hopefully it won’t shock you to believe that it’s rarely enforced and almost never enforced for large Corpos.

- Comment on FCC scraps old speed benchmark, says broadband should be at least 100Mbps 8 months ago:
I’m at like 300/10 and it’s miserable. I’d gladly go back to 100 down if it means i could also get 100 up. I’d settle for 50 up at this point. Wife can barely stream her Spin/Workout classes.
- Comment on Netflix Poised to Raise Prices in 2024 as It Continues to Gain Share of TV Viewing 8 months ago:
It was a glimpse into revenue they were desperately trying to achieve again but almost never will despite every lie about why they have to increase pricing.

- Comment on (Anti Union talk due to new UAW wins/Tesla to unionize) Elon Musk: I disagree with the idea of unions [5:36 | Elon Musk and Andrew Ross Sorkin | CNBC Television] 11 months ago:
That’s called logic and I’m not sure it’s applicable to modern society anymore. I really wish it was but too many people are just allowing their world view to be skewed by news bytes like this. They read it, accept it as fact and march on.
- Comment on Once again, I am calling on manufacturers to improve their sealing glues 11 months ago:
I’m not sure how peanut butter is sealed but usually foil lids are sealed with an induction sealer. Cap it’s tightened down (if not potential for a bad deal) and the foil in the cap is pushed tight to the bottle/jar. The metal heats up, melts the plastic and seals.
- Comment on Only $79.99 11 months ago:
More like 2030. Maybe even 2025.
