It’s clearly over. Where does he go and not ruin the receiving teams roster and/or draft capital to “compete now”? San antonio?

Only team I’ve seen that has showed real interest (so not Spurs, OKC, rockets, etc.) and has enough to make the bucks pull the trigger now instead of offseason is he warriors.
They can trade butler 1:1 salary wise but if needed include Kuminga and some others if they want Turner too. They also have the draft picks the bucks would want.
Timberwolves, Knicks, etc. don’t have enough to trade right now imo.

Steph twilight years with Giannis would be ridiculous. Shame to see Jimmy end in a dead MN

If the Celtics decide to go all in on winning a banner or two and then blowing it up, Giannis for Tatum could work, salary wise. The Celtics don’t have to wait for Tatum to fully recover and avoid the risk of Tatum losing a step due to the injury. Beyond that, Giannis has always been better than Tatum. The big downside is that Giannis is a few years older and has played a lot more professional games.

End of an era. If it’s real this time.
The Bucks really dug themselves into a pretty deep hole with the last few coaching picks, bad drafting, and trades that didn’t quite work out. Some of that is Giannis’s fault.
If they still had Dame, Mamu, and Donte, accepted this year as a rebuilding year, and had any other coach, this might have all played out differently.

Is he really going to get traded with his current injury and his contract? He’s 31 and his entire playstyle is built around intense athletic superiority. Once that diminishes, what kind of player will he realistically be? What team would want him?
I think he won’t get traded before the deadline. Maybe in summer.
