I am feeling the woes of a the 64gb Steamdeck users and i’m wondering it this adapter for an sd card would work?
To add on top of other people’s comments, SD cards should not be considered reliable. They are made from the cheapest bottom of the barrel NAND flash. For storing contents that you write once then read many times and can easily replace, they are fine. But you don’t want it for an OS drive.

That seems like it would let you use an SD card in an M.2 slot? Why not just use the Deck’s micro SD slot? If you’re going to open up the Deck you ought really find an SSD to put in the M.2 slot.
