I was trying to diagnose how on earth does this thing drain battery even when plugged in. It’s in 5V mode, ffs. Temporarily fixed this by using my thinkpad charger, but I guess I need to get new a brick after all.
If anyone else has charging issues, I used Powersupply and Mission Center in the screenshot.
Did you manged to get 15V3A working yet? I o ly seem to be able to go to 22W charging max so far (but adapter is from valve and can do 15V3A)Charging curve
I’ve not seen mine or heard of anyone elses hitting 45W. I can barely get it to pass 30W while charging+playing.
It’s unlikely the Frame can charge at that speed, as that would fill the small battery in less than 30 minutes.
It might still be using 15V, the amperage of each mode is not constant. Devices can pull as much or as little as they want.
Didn’t pay much attention to it after finding the thinkpad brick. It negotiated 15V3A, but I assume the frame is never going to pull the whole 3A budget.

Wouldn’t it make more sense to have a PD 3.0 charger that does 20V?
That’s what they recommend at least under accessories
