didn’t the last one end like 2 days ago?
- Comment on [Leak] Steam Controller 2 render thumbnail leaked in SteamVR drivers 3 weeks ago:
It seems to me like the thumbsticks are in the same ergonomic location as on a Playstation controller, and the trackpads are just in the empty space that would otherwise be there. I’m fully into it even if this is what it looks like when complete
- Comment on Overkill is doing their annual Steam Deck survey 5 weeks ago:
For what it’s worth, I was able to remotely walk my brother through getting Clone Hero working on his Deck with a used GH controller from Ebay having never done it myself. It’s not too difficult!
- Comment on Overkill is doing their annual Steam Deck survey 5 weeks ago:
You know the original Steam controller has gyro input?
- Comment on Overkill is doing their annual Steam Deck survey 5 weeks ago:
I really hope we see a Steam Controller 2. The Deck’s trackpads are chef’s kiss and I want a controller with the Deck’s layout for docked mode
- Comment on Hori’s officially licensed Steam controller is coming to the US 1 month ago:
Cool, I like the capacitive sticks, but not what I’m waiting for. I want a Steam controller 2 that’s a Deck without the touchscreen. Anything less and I’m not really interested

Oh HELL yeah. That means if we get some way to run Battleye on the Deck I can finally get Siege working both on the Deck and on my Linux partition and Windows can gtfo

How funny/great would it be if the PSP2 and Switch 2 ran branches of SteamOS?
- Comment on dBrand Releases New Steam Deck Skin Based Off of $1 Million Counter-Strike Skin 5 months ago:
Well that’s understandable. It’s definitely geared for a certain kind of person.

I’d love to know why. My experiences with them have made them out to be very consumer-friendly
- Comment on Hori Announces Controller Made Specifically for Steam 5 months ago:
Yeah, I’m uninterested in buying any new controllers until they make a Steam Deck without the screen. I’m convinced no controller has ever been more comfortable or more versatile than the Steam Deck
- Comment on Lords of the Fallen reboot Lords of the Fallen is getting a sequel in 2026, probably called Lords of the Fallen 5 months ago:
What I don’t get is why Deck13 kicked ass with The Surge 2, showing they really know how to iterate and improve on a core concept really well, but now this IP was taken from them to be given to a completely different team?
TBH I didn’t play LOTF but I really just want to see Deck13 make another game like LOTF or The Surge
- Comment on Redfall will receive one final update after all, including an offline mode 7 months ago:
My cynical brain says the only reason they’re allowing this update is to have evidence that “see, no one cares about offline mode because we added it and no one bought the game!”

This feels like one of those Ford Pinto moments, where the accountants and lawyers got together and determined there was a larger profit margin to take the path less traveled
- Comment on Outside of gaming, how do you guys use your Steam Deck? 9 months ago:
With a Dock and my Steam Controller it’s a fantastic media PC.
- Comment on OLED Bluetooth Wake with Steam Controller? 9 months ago:
Where I live there are so many wifi networks that wireless controllers have a lot of interference and don’t work too well. I commonly just use a cable and hit the power button on my deck myself and it feels like I’m back in the early 2000’s playing on the OG Xbox that I always wished I had lol
- Comment on OLED Bluetooth Wake with Steam Controller? 9 months ago:
You’re the best. You didn’t need to dig this up but this 100% solved my problem.
I used my desktop and micro-USB cable to update the SController firmware, re-paired to the Deck using the Steam+B pairing mode, and now it wakes the Deck from sleep.
Thank you so much!
- Comment on OLED Bluetooth Wake with Steam Controller? 9 months ago:
I think I need to update the firmware on mine. I was disappointed to see there was no option in the controller settings of the Deck even when I plugged it in using a micro USB cable through my dock.

How do you know this? Is there a list of supported devices somewhere? I’m struggling to find it on Valve’s website.

I’m curious because I’ve never heard it as a racist term, what does rice mean aside from the edible grain used in countless dishes?
- Comment on I've never had a Steam account or done PC gaming. I have a OLED SteamDeck coming. what do I need to know? 11 months ago:
If you like FPS games: *Doom Eternal runs fabulously and controls like a dream especially by most FPS thumbstick standards. *Ultrakill falls into that same category *Hypercharge Unboxed is one of my favorite 90’s-style shooters *If you want something less arcadey, Cyberpunk 2077 also runs great and feels great to play *Any of the Half-Life games are an obviously good choice *Left 4 Dead feels great as well All of these FPSes are great offline choices, though some are even better online
- Comment on Good gaming experiences with no HUD? 1 year ago:
Limbo is amazing. You want engrossing atmosphere? No HUD, no music, no color. Just you and the terrifying, soul-crushing, body-crushing environment.
