It’s not great, but on par with other WearOS devices. Definitely room for improvement, though.

Fitbit had plenty of quality problems even before the Google acquisition. I think this is a bit overblown. I am concerned, though, that some day they’re going to EOL the Fitbit phone app and force people to use some half -baked, buggy Google alternative with basic features missing. As they do. That would be the day I switch to Garmin.

Do you mean the pixel watch? What exactly don’t you like? I’m pretty happy with mine.

I had never bought any games on Steam before I had the deck. Now I’m at about 40. Some day I’ll even play them all, I swear!

Some dude on Reddit said after the Steam Deck announcement, that within six months there would be $500 gaming laptops that would make the deck obsolete. Still waiting for those.
- Comment on Outside of gaming, how do you guys use your Steam Deck? 7 months ago:
I once saw a video of soldiers in Ukraine using it to control some drones. Truly a versatile machine.

They should take include that as standard.

I disagree with the idea of billionaires. So there.

This is just failsafe so you can still drive if the screen is unavailable. Drive mode selection is automatic and you can also select it on the screen. For the record, I also think it’s dumb to put it there, but let’s get the facts straight.

Same here. I built a new PC recently but I still play mainly on the deck. Sitting in front of the PC all day at work is enough.

Just do it. You know you want to.
- Comment on [News] Steam Deck OLED review: much more than a screen improvement - Polygon 11 months ago:
That’s the whole point. They had to walk a thin line between making an attractive upgrade and pissing off the existing users. If they had made the deck more powerful, the old ones would suddenly have been obsolete. I think they did a good job of that. And no, I’m not buying the new one either.
