It needs a so-called wormhole, or in popular science also known as Einstein-Rosen bridge.

Volumetric likeness
Let me guess: you are not living in a country where 99.5% of all beer bottles of all brands look the same (except the label) :-)
In addition, you seem to understand the term ‘inventory’ in a very different way…
- Comment on [deleted] 1 year ago:
The hard part is the horsepower
The hard part is dealing with the numerous errors. Things that were accidentally not visible at that moment, that bottle with the label turned the other way etc.
Try and convince your bookkeeping department why your new and fancy inventory is only 93% complete when they are asking for 100% completeness and accuracy, like they have done the last 100 years :-)
- Comment on How can I prevent some Android apps from updating when I update all apps using Google Play Store? 1 year ago:
Most devices honor that.
On Googel Pixels I have seen that when you click 'update ’ then, it updates really all, regardless.

It is a story from the bible. People from Babel built a super high tower. They wanted to reach heaven with it. The tower failed and came down, and then suddenly everybody was speaking in a different language than everybody else, and so they were in serious trouble.
- Comment on [deleted] 1 year ago:
You are climbing the Tower of Babel.
It is not helpful for anybody.
- Comment on What happens when you try to buy a $1M domain? 1 year ago:
What damages?
That depends on the legislation, where it happens.
In my country, you owe the full amount of 1 million because that’s the price you have agreed. The fact that you don’t have so much money does not change your duties.
Then you can go to court and say it was an error. Probably the judge decides for you (but not sure). Then you owe them damages only for all the efforts they have made in relation to this business have been in vain, and this may yet become very extensive.

Assuming I don’t have the money, at what point would I get blocked?
First they would make sure to know who you are.
Then the deal breaks, you don’t get your domain, and you owe them a nice amount for damages. That won’t go away. They would come after you and strip you of everything you have, probably for years to come.
- Comment on Will there be power issues if I plug an unpowered USB hub into a powered on or vice versa 1 year ago:
Going beyond that will either trip a fuse on the board
I have seen dead hubs, but I have never seen one with such fuses.
- Comment on Do I need a license to kill a squirrel? 1 year ago:
I know this would vary from locale to locale, but
But still you don’t tell for which one you are asking?
- Comment on Will there be power issues if I plug an unpowered USB hub into a powered on or vice versa 1 year ago:
Read all their electrical specs carefully!
Usually, powered hubs can provide only what is needed to fulfill the (old) USB standard of 5V, 1A, which is only a little snack for today’s hungry devices.
But if the powered hub is actually stronger than the standard of 5V, 1A, then the powerless hub may burn out.
That’s why today’s (much stronger) chargers are no hubs anymore.
- Comment on How to get rid of blood stains from paper? 1 year ago:
I have never tried that, but you can easily test it.
- Comment on How to get rid of blood stains from paper? 1 year ago:
Try it with pure isopropyl alcohol. No water, because water destroys your paper.
- Comment on [deleted] 1 year ago:
You cannot discuss the topic anywhere in public without stirring up so many triggered people from all directions.

Freedom of expression should not be subject to the whims of individuals!
That’s the same here on Lemmy. Yet going away and freespeaking elsewhere is easier.
- Comment on How to stop thinking about an interaction from my past? 1 year ago:
Forgiveness is how you move past things.
you choose to move on
This is the truth.
You can make the decision to let him go free, and never bring it up against him anymore. That way you let yourself go free as well.
- Comment on In the Hamas/Israel war, why does Palestine have "hostages" but Israel has "prisoners"? 1 year ago:
Because news agencies have bosses.
