- Comment on RazerGenie for configuring Razer devices on Linux v1.2 brings new features 1 week ago:
Maybe it bricks your device when you try to update firmware just like razer synapse does.
Seriously fuck razer.

That was colonel Erran Morrad who was in the mossad I mean not in the mossad, and they were republicans.

Should’ve gone with a much lower number. The difference of 100 dollars means nothing to my burning spite.
- Comment on Valve bans Razer and Wooting’s new keyboard features in Counter-Strike 2 2 months ago:
The game is coded to not allow you to strafe while pressing both side buttons. This software sidesteps that by changing how the keyboard functions with simultaneous key presses.
This is simillar to banning n-key rollover if something like 4-key rollover was the norm.
Rollover has nothing to do with how the game isbcod d to handle certain inputs.
It’s an improvement on movement and raises the skill ceiling.
Strafing is a difficult skill. Allowing hardware to change how a character behaves lowers the skill ceiling.
that example is also nothing like the feature being discussed here.
Still a closer analogy than “are they gonna ban low latency peripherals.” Genuinely baffling how you came to that conclusion.

It’s scripting to change your character movement. The super light mouse doesn’t move itself. How is that even comparable in your mind?
Imagine if you had a mouse that stopped moving when your crosshair passed over an enemy. Is that acceptable?
- Comment on Zombie survival game 7 Days To Die version 1.0 is out now after 11 years in early access 3 months ago:
This is one of those games that kept getting better. I picked it up in 2016 and it was a blast and perfectly playable, and I came back to nearly every major alpha update for a fresh playthrough. The 1.0 basically fixed almost all my complaints about the game by making crafting relevant again, and making armor matter. Still could use a polishing pass, but the game is fantastic and I highly recommend it if you like survival crafters.
- Comment on Valve Working on Video Clip Recording and Sharing in Steam Client 5 months ago:
Yeah I absolutely hate that it doesn’t detect certain games and sometimes it just doesn’t realize I’m playing a game until I hit clip and see it capture the last 0 seconds.
- Comment on Two students uncover security bug that could let millions do their laundry for free 5 months ago:
Sounds like it’s just a super basic program with zero protection. If you can figure out what the “commands” are and how to send em, that’s all you need.
- Comment on Steam will stop issuing refunds if you play two hours of a game before launch day 6 months ago:
Smaller devs can use EA to secure funding to complete the game. I’m not against it. Hell, some of my favorite games I played in EA and they were absolutely worth the money even unfinished. Most notably rust, 7 days to die, Valheim(!!!), rimworld… OK I like survival games.
Then we have whale milking factories like star citizen, but that’s where due diligence comes in. Read reviews, watch gameplay, enter with realistic expectations and you won’t be disappointed.
- Comment on Flipper Zero WiFi phishing attack can unlock and steal Tesla cars 8 months ago:
Also if it’s a wifi attack you need the wifi devboard. It’s cheaper and probably easier to use a shitty old phone.
- Comment on what is the correct way to use the word "backorder" in English? 11 months ago:
Backorder has a less permanent meaning than unavailable. It generally means the retailer is out of stock until the next delivery. Reasons can vary, but that’s the broad idea.

- Comment on Bethesda Is Responding to Negative Reviews of Starfield on Steam 11 months ago:
Replying to myself because I just can’t get over how shitty storage is. I can carry my armor, pack, like 8 guns, and way too many consumables, then stack another 130 or so on top of that. The giant ass storage crates as tall as me? 100, take it or leave it.
- Comment on Bethesda Is Responding to Negative Reviews of Starfield on Steam 11 months ago:
I had a barrel outside caius’ house that I dumped all my extra stuff into. One barrel held everything. My current storage outpost has… At least 10 resource storage crates? And that’s still not enough. Plus actually hauling all that shit from mining outposts.
- Comment on Bethesda Is Responding to Negative Reviews of Starfield on Steam 11 months ago:
Are you kidding? Slowly unloading your ship 200 pounds at a time and waiting for it to hopefully actually transfer to the pods is so fun. Not to mention they have absolutely no storage so you need a wall of them that you must then manually search to find anything. The best is when your cargo ship doesn’t fit on the landing pad so you have to carry it all yourself. Or you could build a convoluted network of shipping docks and either manually fuel them or create another convoluted network of shipping docks just to ship helium 3 to all the other shipping docks. Fuck I love loading screens.
Rage aside, the game itself was pretty fun for a run or two, but after that the shallowness really showed. Outposts suck ass though. I made shitty ones and figured I’d hit ng+ before actually caring about them, but I couldn’t make myself care. Benches go outside, I don’t give a shit.
God I’m just remembering how bad it is now. If the terrain isn’t perfectly level go fuck yourself, you can’t expand your hab. I build a fucking boardwalk with multiple levels and shopfronts in FO4, I had nearly full map coverage for artillery, I could attract settlers to live there and defend it. Now I just drop an extractor and power and fuck off.
