I can’t wait until the Spiderman games go on sale. I vowed never to buy any open world game for more than $15, after being burned so often.
I got Horizon Zero Dawn for like $10. I was even surprised when RDR2 went on sale for under $15. So now I just have to wait.

Make plenty of save points! (Or do multiple playthroughs)
It’s very fun to pick an answer, then load up a prior save a do another one.
One choice let’s you skip a whole chunk of the game, which is hilarious

The Ys series.
There’s so many of them that I had to figure out what they’re about.
Just finished the first one and was surprised how good it was, in a very retro way. The second one seems to have me backtrack a lot, and maze like designs. Which I hope doesn’t become the norm.

Damn this isn’t that bad. I thought I gamed heavily but I’m probably doing 10-15 hours of week at most because work, life, kids.

This is where I’m confused.
You have to be both a hardcore gamer AND wealthy enough to buy the brand new AAA game that needs expensive hardware, and yet be poor enough to not be able to afford a gaming rig that can handle it.
Like, imagine buying a wagyu beef but only owning a microwave? So you rent a kitchen?
- Comment on ‘Our industry has been strip-mined’: video game workers protest at The Game Awards 3 weeks ago:
Not to be a Debby downer but I used to work in the game industry and they haven’t said anything new that we didn’t say back then.
There has always been some protest/call for change since I left the industry in 2015. It’s like the film industry, there’s always fresh suckers who will get taken advantage of and those who are burnt out will leave.
I’m politely rooting but I’ve moved on years ago.

As we watch Kanye, Asmongold, [random influencer] continues to say and encourage their fan base to believe in the most terrible shit…
Remember that if their actions start affecting too much of their pocketbook, they can just apologize. Oh, and pay PR shills to clean up their mess.
PewDiePie spent years putting that belief out in many different ways. What you saw in the news was just what was reported.

You’re not misremembering.
He had a team scrub that off the internet and now a bunch of people have been gaslit.

PewDiePie’s PR machine got you so good you’re defending a multimillionaire for his BS.

He didn’t really apologize at all. He brushed it off, moved on, and then everyone pretended like it didn’t exist.
His PR machine worked hard to clean up his mess.
Imagine if JK Rowling’s got quiet then two years later, came back and everyone gaslight you into saying they just went through a phase.

Nah I’m saying you say racist shit, you don’t get off the hook.

Pretty much. The whole “Internet is forever” doesn’t mean shit if you can be a dick and then throw money to PR fix your reputation.

Yeah. Guy does a few Nazi things and anti-Semitic things a few years ago and he has to live with that reputation forever? . And come on, why are you living in the past? Just because Kanye straight off said some Nazi shit every few months? Dude, separate the art from the artist!
Oh, and Kevin Spacey did a bit of rape back then. But it was so long ago!
And while we’re here, Bill Cosby drugged those girls in the 70s. Like my dude, who wasn’t a little edgy back then?

Maybe I need Cortana, Microsoft Excel, and OneDrive while I play Doom Eternal. You don’t know me.

I’ve been neutral with Microsoft upgrades for years. Annoying, but not enough to want to change.
But after Cortana, I’m done in with upgrades. I’m sitting on Win10 forever until SteamOS fully works for every game i own.

Very cool. Now it just needs to drop in price.
I’m willing to wait for it to hit under $20
