I don’t think that means what they say it does. There is no new gpu generation, no new cpu generation until next year (and even then the x3ds will take more time), and the performance increase between generations is getting very marginal. Not to mention there’s no reason to build a new pc when most people can just upgrade granularly.
The fact that 40% plan to build a new pc is crazy to me

I think memory is going to be the limiting factor. 12 gigs is very limiting on non-console systems

Steam Frame is a PC, and runs SteamOS powered by a Snapdragon® 8 Series Processor.
I’m more excited about this tbh. It’ll be quite something if Valve ends up solving the firmware problems of Linux on snapdragon powered phones.
