I’ve been seeing chatter about nvme drives with shitty relabeled chips, and SMART reporting that is nothing but 🐂 💩. There’s more unreliable fake garbage out there than ever, and you can’t buy direct from any OEM because they only sell to Altman anymore.

Could always just plug in an external drive via USB too, though I have no idea how slow that would be nowadays
