Damn I’m still on the edge. My wife got herself a legion go (I know some people don’t like it for many reasons, but I find it awesome), and now I’m really thinking about a steam deck, but don’t want to buy it if they’re going to make a new one soon…

Didn’t they say there will be many years before a new hardware revision of the deck? I had been in the fence about getting one too and got a white one when it came. I’m very happy with it.

Yeah, they’ve said they want a generational leap in power without affecting battery life. Also, Valve makes money from people buying games on Steam, Lenovo is a hardware manufacturer that makes money from people buying their hardware, so they’re going to release a new model every year or so.

Consider that the Windows handhelds are going to age very poorly, and arguably already are, while the Deck has only gotten better over time.
If it’s worth the money right now for your personal situation, go for it fam. Very few regret it, except maybe don’t buy the cheapest model with like a 5gb ssd lol

Any chance you would want to add twystlock.com to the accessories section?

It’s not my guide, so I can’t add anything unfortunately.
