Gotta love a broken spark plug…

I’ve tried to kick them out in a taxi driver fainting situation, it’s really not trivial, particularly if you’re the only one in the back.

Again, not a fan of how the h2 is sourced, how limited its surrounding infra is, etc etc. Just saying that at least for trains, it makes more sense than for a car.
I do like that it’s approximately an EV that isn’t lithium constrained, but plenty of serious downsides as well, see: intra-atomic escape.

I’m inclined to agree re: h2, though at least with trains it kinda could work, maybe. They tend to come back to similar yards all over the place.
Hydrogen cars is just… Don’t.

We can consider it a relatively straightforward upgrade to the system though. Definitely more expensive than upgrading individual trainsets to h2 or lithium, and nowhere near as quick… But it could be staged, or just the mainlines.
Imagine mainlines get electrified so EV or h2 trains use none of their onboard energy, until they start getting onto the unelectrified branches.

Not if you do it simultaneously… cost is higher than just rail, but rains wouldn’t have range limits at all, and would weigh less, meaning less energy used to accelerate (and better emergency brake response).
I’m very pro EV, but even more a fan of distributed power systems that aren’t chemical based.

You’re right. Just trying to counter the very confused people saying a glass of wine everyday is good for you lol.

Not beneficial, both your comment and your attempt at rationalizing use of booze. In excess, both are bad.
The point, which hasn’t changed, is that it takes a lot more smoking to cause damage equivalent to what booze causes, even in small amounts.

Hey cope, thanks for the reply. Consider how we use alcohol to make things like turkey, pork etc tender. Alcohol breaks down fibrous connective tissue, so your bourbon-bbq pulled pork is especially soft and succulent.
Now, consider what happens in your body. A toxic agent reaching all corners of your body, vs an irritating cloud of ash which gets trapped in your alveoli. Neither is good, but evidence strongly suggests that it’s harder to hurt yourself with flower vs booze.
For the record, I partake in both on occasion, but I definitely think alcohol is worse for me, personally. Everybody’s different.

I guess it’s good that devs don’t need to optimize as much as they had to, but I also feel like we’ve collectively allowed the laziness to go too far, with 110gb updates and stuff.

Crazy that it only needs 3.5mb of disk space.
