- Comment on Who's your pick for the NBA Finals? 2 weeks ago:
Tricky. Before the playoffs, if you had told me it would be Spurs vs. Knicks, I would’ve said Spurs for sure, because they have the better core and some advantages over the Knicks (tall guards, Brunson’s limited on D, KAT’s constant foul trouble). But the Knicks have looked much better in the playoffs than the regular season, they’re more rested, and have a deeper, more consistent bench. Now I think it’s a toss-up. Perhaps Knicks in 7, although I want the Spurs to win this thing.

Harden making sure he’ll never lose a Game 7 again in his life.
- Comment on THE DETROIT PISTONS HAVE BEEN ELIMINATED FROM CHAMPIONSHIP CONTENTION 5 weeks ago:
I always have to remind myself that Duren is just 22 years old and the expectations of him are probably overblown. I hope he continues to improve over the next few years, and the Pistons manage to add some scoring to the roster in the off-season.

First the Celtics, now the Pistons. The east is such a mess this year. Go Knicks I guess?

Dude, how is Gobert only at -10 with 0 points, 0 blocks, and 3 rebounds?
- Comment on Wemby Ejected for Elbow to Reid 1 month ago:
Oof, that was quite the punch. The ejection was well-deserved unfortunately, but I can understand Wemby’s frustration considering all the non-calls up to that point, *cough* Gobert. Not an excuse by any means, but an understandable emotion that Wemby will hopefully control better next time.

Right? Super intense and great energy. Almost felt like the Playoffs started early this year.

It’s not so much that I hate Yao, but I hate low-quality posts.

Came into a situation that was already solved and re-escalated it by shoving the player from the opposing team. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Can you describe how you do this? I have mixed experience with in-home streaming via Steam (latency, disconnects, inability to connect when the host is running Windows with no monitor) but would be very interested in giving it another go with a Linux host and the Deck.

Against the Storm and Dredge are two I can think of. They both run extremely well and without any tinkering with control schemes.

It’s called a patina, and it’s an intended side-effect of repeated use that increases performance.

- Comment on The one accesory I would recommend with the Deck 1 year ago:
The Nintendo Switch has the port at the bottom with the connector built into the dock. IMO a better solution, particularly for playing handheld with the cable in.

Leave Chester alone, he’s just misunderstood!
- Comment on Back in my day 2 years ago:
Back in the day, me and my siblings recorded movies on VHS by sitting next to the TV and starting/stopping the recording for commercial breaks. The best movies were those with only small snippets of commercials, and my most treasured movie was a nearly “clean” copy of Die Hard that I’ve watched many dozen times.
- Comment on Is it disrespectful to call someone instead of answering their email? 2 years ago:
In your case, it doesn’t like someone being rude, more like a poorly designed system. In general, I think it’s courteous to warn people about it. Like when I receive an email that would require a lengthy response, I could write “Easier to do this on the phone. Can I call you later?” and that’s always been fine.
