Ooooh. Thanks for the dose of hopium.
- Comment on Black & White 3 doesn't sound like it's ever going to happen, but good ole overpromising Peter Molyneux may have let slip about a remaster of the original 2 days ago:
Even if they don’t add a VR mode to the remaster someone will cuck code a mod pretty quick
- Comment on Finally escaping Windows, ironically thanks to AI 3 days ago:
Yeah. I’m not pro-AI by any stretch but internet searching powered by AI has made it MUCH easier to tinker and troubleshoot. The Linux community can be pretty awful when you’re new to Linux and trying to make things run.

Don’t do that to me. Don’t give me hope.

I’ve dodged a couple (Royalty and Anomaly) but all appreciate they put the effort in.

Probably because there’s no details and it probably won’t be out for years.
I was hoping for a new DLC announcement at least.

I need a film noir detective VR space.

- Comment on Steam Frame Wait List is Moving 2 weeks ago:
If I stream I can get ~2 hours on it. ~1.5hrs if I’m playing native. It charges very quickly through.
If I ever get to the point where I want to play more than 2 hours in a row, which doesn’t happen with a family and responsibilities, it’d be pretty easy to get a decent battery pack in the back pocket/beltpack and keep going comfortably.
Plugging it in while steated is super comfortable and you can play continuously on it that way.
- Comment on Steam Frame Wait List is Moving 2 weeks ago:
I wish the Steam Machine and Controller waitlists would do the same.
- Comment on Frame controllers track REALLY WELL 2 weeks ago:
No complaints other than Index finger tracking gone. That was cool.
- Comment on Valve is changing Steam's homepage discounts and events section to go the way of the algorithm to get you to look at, and buy, obviously, more games 2 weeks ago:
Valve literally just put out a calendar that goes on the front page and highlights indie games.
- Comment on Frame controllers track REALLY WELL 2 weeks ago:
The Frame controllers track EXTREMELY WELL!! I feel like I finally got my original Rift back, and on LINUX!
I played through my old catalogue and find they don’t track well for older games that aren’t “Great on Frame”. I wonder what the difference is.
- Comment on Nobody talked about the most useless feature of the Steam Frame 3 weeks ago:
I like the pointer button. Helps when I’m seated at my PC and don’t want to fiddle with the controllers.

What’s the issue with it?
- Comment on Enabling disk encryption on the Steam Deck [experimental!] 1 month ago:
Is Steam Hardware not encrypted by default? Most Linux installs provide the option these days, no?
