Yes and no.
Yes in that (to Microsoft) the copilot product is more important than the strategy that is open-source social coding.
No in the sense that they have already made it that… it’s not 100% cohesive, but “github” is the thing that manages engagment, organizes todos, generates the code, stores the code, performs code reviews, builds the code, deploys the code, answers tech questions, alerts you to security issues, etc. As a product it is an everything-blob… already… right now.

I doubt they will even pay to have this exception coded up, much less try it out to have customers reject the higher prices. I expect it is easier and cheaper to simply exclude from operating in that state; this seems to be the pattern with other such force of law over tech company business models anyway.

It’s pretty cool that stuff like this is within the reach of students.
- Comment on Cops can force suspect to unlock phone with thumbprint, US court rules 1 year ago:
The solution is so obvious that I suspect a conspiracy. Just allow OTHER actions to be performed based on the finger used. Maybe it’s unlock, maybe it’s power-off, maybe siren, maybe factory-reset.
- Comment on Amazon kills “Just Walk Out” shopping tech—it never really worked 1 year ago:
I would assume that “fake it till you make it” does not work in the tech space.
