liable before whom? the racist, hand picked by a pedophile, SCOTUS?

How has X not been sued into the ground?
the president of the usa is a known child rapist and probably trafficker elected twice to office… do you really think anyone in the gov cares about child porn made by one of the president’s best buds AI?

and that’s probably worse than that as many, like everyone in my group, got this license to try it and we all hated it… we are trying to cancel these licenses to save money as they are useless for us

I see, and yes, you needed some technical savvyness (is that a word?) to do this on your own before

Wasn’t that always allowed?
- Comment on Apple CEO Tim Cook warns AI-driven price increases are unavoidable 3 weeks ago:
are you crazy? that would show that so many people could not cive a fuck about AI and would not pay a dollar for the slop machines
can you imagine what that would do to the bubble??

if it does, it would finally be something to put on the AI “pros” column

It is objectively one of the stupidest “strategies” ever… literally like saying “jump without looking” with the huge bias of one who did so and happen to land on a soft pillow and ignoring the thousands before and ofter who died trying the same stupid stunt
The problem is that Americans have been indoctrinated in celebrity worship: if Singer Z has a couple of great songs, he certainly knows how to raise kids, cure illnesses and fix the economy, right?!

So when they started adding HDMI and hardware video decoding support I figured it would be perfect for a simple HDTV driver… however, it’s basically impossible to watch a movie without glitches and stoppages.
I also attempted to use it with a very light linux distro as a simple web browser but it was always sluggish… at the price point, it seems you are better off getting some old laptop/desktop (if size is not a problem)
I am sure it would work as a headless something but at that level so would my 10 year old abandoned computer I just can’t bring myself to toss out hehehe

pi performance is pretty low though… I’ve been generally disappointed

I’ve been waiting for this!.. I have a couple of personal spreadsheets with Google but that’s it.
Now I can completely move to Proton (not the best but at least better) and spend my day filling and removing my Google Drive with garbage tehehehe

- Comment on 'Big Short' Michael Burry bets $1bn on AI bubble bursting | LBC 8 months ago:
While I want both to be true, he’s betting against governments wanting actionable intelligence on each and every citizen
Not at all… governments can keep that even if ALL commercial AI disappears today. The gov wanting this would keep the tech alive but not commercially viable at all; if anything, the gov would prefer to have it all to themselves and keep whatever advantage it’s supposed to provide.
AI, in and of itself, if not more privacy intrusive than: cellphones, facebook, google suite, etc
- Comment on Data Shows That AI Use Is Now Declining at Large Companies 9 months ago:
indeed, anyone with skills would have whipped that up in noetime without AI… or use any of the many apps that already does that

This should be a default in any commercial project… company no longer wants to maintain it? it is automatically open source and all patents made public

yes, and discontinued right after, no?
look don’t get me wrong, I like the product and curious about its return. I just find it strange to pretend a version 2 of a product is “unique”
That is Apple level of “we inveted this thing that has been in the market for 2 years”
- Comment on The Return of the Pebble Smartwatch Is a Sign People Crave Something Unique 1 year ago:
successful products do not exit the market

how is the return of a failed product “unique”?
