As long as it releases on PC, I’ll allow it

Accept it and go in person with a hammer.
For those who think I’m inciting violence with this comment: you’re correct.
- Comment on [Frame] Landed on the waitlist, two friends as well (Europe) 1 week ago:
The frame requirement is not the same as the controller.
The controller had as retirement any previous purchase. The frame has a purchase before April. So there will be users/bots who bought the controller and are not eligeable for the frame.
- Comment on [Frame] Landed on the waitlist, two friends as well (Europe) 1 week ago:
The purchase history has to be older than the stream controller, so those bots are not eligeable (requirement is April, controller released on may).
The bot/scalper problem wasn’t such an issue before. The deck oled had stock for many days in my region.
In theory they are already prioritizing old/verified accounts, demand is just much higher than supply.
I hope you get lucky with you place on the wait list, I think this was the best solution to a very shitty situation.
I didn’t get it two of my friends did.

Four friends entered, 2 got it. I was expecting worse ratio.

Sorry, I was a bit defensive. I misunderstood your intention.
I don’t know how they will do with the addresses, but maybe there are post offices or such were you could collect it?
Good luck tomorrow :)
- Comment on 2 weeks ago:
Not sure were you’re going with this, this address will receive at most one, so wheter they do that or not won’t affect me.
- Comment on 2 weeks ago:
The one for the payment method and shipping (steam link, deck and controllers over there years)
- Comment on 2 weeks ago:
They will pay with their card and put my shipping address. It’s only one, I don’t want more, so likely no issue. Even of we ship to their address… I’ll just walk there?
The accessories are bought together with the frame, and the device is not DRM locked. I don’t think valve will prosecute us, when we buy only one and our accounts are 18+ years old.
- Comment on 2 weeks ago:
I’m so fucking glad I didn’t update my address after moving recently so my wife and I don’t have the same address.
I’m asking every friend that doesn’t want one to line for me. I still think the demand will outpace supply so much it won’t even matter.

After this post I’ve seen some. They flew under my radar until today. For the next one I’ll consider that feature

Only the very low end in my experience use AA or AAA. Which one do you have?

Following Nintendo as in “removable only in EU, fuck the rest of the world”.
- Comment on Not only will the new Steam Controller scream at you but it can play tunes as well 4 months ago:
do players also want their controller to “play tunes”, because haven’t seen the DualSense users giving a fuck about such a thing.
- Comment on Not only will the new Steam Controller scream at you but it can play tunes as well 4 months ago:
Weird your opinion is based on what others think and not your experience.
You don’t seem at all unhinged, so I guess I’ll trust your word art face value.

The dual sense speaker is really nice. I take you don’t have it.

- Comment on Steam Deck LCD 256GB on sale for 20% off ($400 -> $320) 1 year ago:
It’s me! Do you have the comment by any chance or just remember by heart? As mentioned below, the tariffs are mostly in hold until November (or people start asking again about some files and a distraction is needed).

It’s me haha! But the tariffs war are on hold with the most outrageous frozen until November so…
And this is on a sale of the first version? I would be surprised about a permanent across the board discount, not this.
